Job Description:

The Business Development Executive will serve as a direct link between a company and its clients. Build sales by prospecting for new clients and generate income by nurturing existing customer relationships. You are in charge of account service, acting as the liaison between the organization and the client. If a customer has a question, concern or requests account executives will relay their needs to the appropriate individual or department within the company and follow-up with the customer. Success is measured in the following areas: (1) Existing account growth and retention, (2) New client acquisition, (3) Business Management, and (4) Adherence to organizational policies and best practices. Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive: Build sales by prospecting for new clients and generate income by nurturing existing customer relationships. Plan, Develop and execute sales strategies to meet established quota Maintain relationships with customers to ensure personal attention Lead cultivation though aggressive in-bound and out-bound call activity to both prospects and targeted accounts. Providing qualified lead to internal sales force resulting in revenue attainment. Keen listing skills and a well-developed product baseline to quickly assess a client's needs and accurately provide business recommendations. Conduct market research on competitors, including product or service pricing and sales techniques Provide sales presentations to potential customers and preparing bids and contracts And all other requirements of role to accomplish goals Qualifications of the Business Development Executive:

  • Ten or more years' experience in business-to-business sales
  • Proven sales history with increasing sales amounts year after year
  • Demonstrated knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, presentation skills, gaining commitment, negotiation)
  • Skill in taking independent action and being a self-starter
  • Stay on top of developments in industry
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build customer relationships and provide appropriate levels of customer service
  • Business acumen and the ability to calculate numbers and amounts
  • Microsoft Office software applications
  • Skill in adapting to new software
  • Ability to use the internet or other tools to research target businesses/industries
  • Embraces a team selling environment
  • Maintains a strong knowledge base of competitive landscape, product offerings and solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills; must be proactive and take initiative
  • Professionalism and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Computer proficiency including experience using Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
