Position Summary. The Data Engineer's primary job function is to build, maintain, document, and improve FineMark's application integrations and data pipelines, for both operational and analytical systems. Core Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the company's data warehouse and associated data pipelines
• Build and maintain the company's application integrations
• Assist with data migrations as-needed Position Qualifications:
  • Significant experience with industry leading data warehousing solutions and related technologies such as Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.
  • Significant experience working with common integration middleware platforms and tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Data Factory, Mulesoft, Informatica, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of standard enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure or similar major cloud services provider
  • Experience working with any mainstream object-oriented programming language
  • Strong knowledge of SQL or other mainstream query language
  • Strong knowledge of core data architecture concepts (primarily relational and dimensional) Preferred:
    • Financial services industry experience
    • Direct experience with implementation and management of standard data governance tools and techniques
    • Significant experience with standard business intelligence tools and techniques
    • Experience with NoSQL databases and architecture
    • Familiarity with CI/CD fundamentals
    • Familiarity with Salesforce

Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary. Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
