Our IT Corporate Offices in Tampa or Fort Myers, FL is searching
for an IT Acquisitions Project Manager to join our team!
Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Example: 8:00 AM - 5:00
The IT Acquitions Project Manager will partner with functional
areas and business units across The Company to define, scope,
implement and maintain IT projects and solutions. Specific
activities include developing business justification for new
capabilities; capturing and documenting detailed requirements;
providing input on design, test plans/scripts and UAT plans to
ensure requirements are met; ensuring solutions are architected in
accordance with standards and methodologies; driving timelines and
securing resources for IT projects, mergers and transitions. The IT
Acquistions Project Manager will serve as a liaison between
business units and IT service providers in order to coordinate
enhancements, provide integration, and resolve project delivery
issues. The IT Acquitions Project Manager may also participate on
project teams as technical subject matter expert for key business
initiatives. The IT Acquitions Project Manager must ensure that all
activities adhere to relevant policies, SOPs and any compliance
regulations. Must be able to work with multiple teams and business
units simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must demonstrate the eagerness and ability to learn and must work
well in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or
equivalent experience preferred
7+ years of related IT experience preferred.
Preferred ITIL V3 Certification
Project Management background
Good mix of technical/IT consulting and business background.
Positive, collaborative and solution-oriented attitude
Proven ability to communicate and articulate technical information
across various organizational levels
Proven experience creating, championing and maintaining processes,
procedures and policies.
Experience working in the healthcare services industry or other
similar, environment with knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH and PHI
Managing relationships with multiple business stakeholders,
understanding their business drivers and the future direction of
Adapting in a dynamic work environment and make independent
Preferred ITIL V3 Certification
Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and
offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety
Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Ability to enter and retrieve data from computer.
Ability to operate modern office business machinery.
Ability to operate telephone system.
