Responsibilities The Associate Director of Employee Experience & Engagement is responsible for the creation and execution of AON's Employee Experience & Engagement plan and activities. The activities for this position are AON-wide and address the talent acquisition, onboarding, orientation, some required staff development training and communication/survey needs of all practices across the US and our corporate teams. The successful candidate will have broad experience related to human resources. (with expertise and passion for talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement and development) Core responsibility is through a high performing team develop and deliver an end to end employee experience including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, engagement, communications, and required staff training/development. Qualifications Education : High school education required . Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a Human Resources, Business, Organizational Design, Management, or related discipline is preferred. Masters Degree a plus Certifications/Licenses : Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required. PHR or SHRM Certification a plus, but not required. Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Studio, Integrations, Core Connectors, etc.) preferred. Experience :

  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years minimally of experience with full cycle talent management planning and execution including high volume, national talent acquisition/onboarding/orientation programs, robust staff training delivery and innovative engagement programs.
  • Five (5) years of experience managing teams designing, developing, and delivering recruitment, orientation and other talent and engagement experiences.
  • Healthcare, physician practice or related field preferred.
  • Agency or third-party background a plus.
  • Workday experience required. 3 key areas preferred: HCM, Talent Acquisition/Onboarding, and Learning
  • Experience leading and managing large projects and teams of 5 or more.
  • Experience with recruitment vendors, managing agency contracts and contractors.
  • Experience in multi-state compliance.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies in a virtual working environment, fully utilizing technology and communication tools
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service, attention to detail and time-management skills. Core Capabilities : Analysis & Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters. Communication Skills: Good command of the English language. Second language is an asset but not required. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback. Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus. Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations. Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites. Computer Skills: Expert in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. Workday experience required.
