Location: Orion Building Department: Behavioral Health Administration Workdays/Nights: Days 6630 Orion Drive Shift: Shift 1 8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM Fort Myers, FL 33912 Work Type: Full Time Exempt: Yes Job Summary Summary: The Director of Behavioral Health Education and Training will provide oversight to community programs and to develop new opportunities to expand and create internal and external training opportunities. The BH Director of Education and Training is responsible to establish, maintain and develop relationships with community partners with the help of the clinic teams, Lee team, and leadership. The BH Director of Education and Training will foster new relationships in the community, identify new and innovative training opportunities, and serve as the BH educator within Lee Health and in the larger community. The BH Director of Education and Training will also be responsible for internal and external mental health and addiction medicine trainings and educational seminars. Job Requirements Responsibilities: Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Master's Required Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or 5 Years Work Related Required 5 years supervisory experience in a Human Service setting required. Highly developed relational, training, and mentoring skills required. State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Valid Florida Driver's License required. License in Behavioral Health preferred. Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or Certification in Behavioral Health preferred. Other Requirements Proven ability to supervise and implement community training and education programs. Ability to administer, coordinate and plan organization programs, events, and services. Knowledge of evidence-based trainings and changes in the behavioral health industry; able to effectively communicate to stakeholders, partners, and community members. Ability to function as a Lee Health and community liaison. Experience in working cooperatively with funding groups, constituents and community agencies. Demonstrated competence in administration and supervision including: oCommunity training programs oOutcomes and data-driven care oTraining and development oGrant writing and oversight Ability to communicate clearly and consistently.
