Job Description:
A company is looking for a Support Service Manager to manage all
facets of assigned team(s) including planning, staffing, product
evaluation and enhancement, and policies/procedures with focus on
departmental and corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage performance to ensure competent staff delivers quality
results
Give instructions and direction to direct reports and negotiators
on individual cases
Maintain client and provider relations by following up on questions
and service issues that arise
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
Minimum high school diploma and five (5) years' experience in the
healthcare or managed care industry
Two (2) years' experience effectively managing staff involved in
negotiations and/or sales
Knowledge of claim production standards, medical claim and provider
billing procedures, and effective negotiation principles
Good managerial, organizational, time management, and leadership
skills
Ability to adjust workflow, interpret data, prioritize and manage
time, make decisions using limited or incomplete data, and manage
multiple projects
