Staffing Resource Center Job Description
The Staffing Resource Center (SRC) is seeking experienced RN's who
are competent and proficient in vascular access to join our float
pool. Candidates must possess a strong foundation in challenging IV
starts, be able to function independently and in teams, be
proactive with prioritization and time management. We offer

shift differential and compensation for floating. As part of the
SRC Float Pool, you are provided a unique opportunity for building
strong relationships throughout Lee Health and you are exposed to a
variety of clinical experiences to broaden your knowledge.
We have full-time and part-time benefited positions available for
night shift. You will be required to float to multiple
hospitals/units and must be able to work 12 hour shifts including
weekend shifts. Reliable transportation is necessary.

Full-Time Relocation Incentive: Up to $9,200.00 (may apply for
qualifying candidates who live greater than 50 miles from Lee
County). A two-year work commitment is required. Limited Time

Job Duties
Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of all aspects
of Vascular Access (VA) patient care through the nursing process of
assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice
utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving and
differentiation of urgency in the role of: clinician, teacher,
researcher, leadership and professional development. Responsible
for directing and coordinating Vascular Access nursing care for
patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards
subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance
with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards.
Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure
effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement
of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and
mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity
into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of
quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and
performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive
outcomes in patient care. The nurse practice is guided by the code
of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements. Department

Requirements
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional
nursing
Experience Required: Previous IV therapy with demonstrated skills.
Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency
assessment. State of Florida Licensure Requirements Required:
Registered Nurse License Certifications/Registration Requirements
Required: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
Additional Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) current for a
minimum of 90 days after hire date. Proof of American Heart
Association Healthcare Provider.
Other Requirements: Compassion and helpful nature; strong
communication and interpersonal skills; customer service skills;
time management; flexibility; comfortable using a computer; and
