Jaffe Sports Medicine, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking an enthusiastic Board-Certified Physician (MD/DO) to expand our well-respected Pain Management practice in Ft Myers, Florida. The Provider would work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Physical Therapists.

How You Contribute and Succeed This caring Physician will be experienced with pain and medication management and will be able to provide patient centered care with high patient satisfaction! You will work as part of the tight-knit care team with the Physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers to ensure the patient has the best possible experience and outcomes. The physicians will provide comprehensive multidisciplinary pain management care and may supervise ARNPs/Physician AssistantCreate a safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management and treatment planAssesses the physical and mental condition of patients by performing and obtaining comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories.Provides relief from acute or chronic pain using medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other therapiesOrders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs.Maintains (accurately, timely and complete) appropriate Electronic Health records detailing the patient--------s treatment plans and outcomes. Initiates timely consultation and referral when the problem exceeds scope of practice and/or expertise.Counsels patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion. Counsels patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over the counter medications and herbal remedies.Review patient documents to measure the effectiveness and quality of patient care.
Ideal Qualifications: Must have M.D./D.O. or foreign degree equivalent, BE/BC in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and have already completed a Pain Management FellowshipCurrent active and unrestricted (without sanctions) State Medical LicenseMust have a DEA to prescribe Controlled medications in FloridaBasic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationDesire to work as part of a team environmentFits in with the culture and vision of the organization
