Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida (Lee Health) is
seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician!
Located near Southwest Florida's beaches is Golisano Children's
Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric
facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and
their families throughout the region. This 135-bed regional
hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only
children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides
various specialized services to take care of all of our community's
children, from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to
critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more.
The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24 hours
in-house Neonatology coverage.
Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 14,000
employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 800 employed primary
care and specialty care providers with nearly 90 practice locations
throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care
hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812
hospital beds.
Position Information:
Lee Physician Group (LPG) – Pediatric Gastroenterology is seeking a
full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrics and
fellowshipped trained in Gastroenterology to join their growing
team of 3 physicians and 1 advance provider (AP). Candidate can
expect the full scope of Pediatric GI Practice: a robust inpatient
and outpatient practice with varied intensive patient experience
including IBD, Liver disease, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Functional
GI disorders. There is also a dedicated adult/pediatric endoscopy
center with separate pediatric entrance and peri operative area,
and current procedural capabilities for EGD Colonoscopy capsule
endoscopy, Bravo pH monitoring, esophageal pH/impedance, anorectal
manometry, esophageal dilation. Adult colleagues currently assist
with ERCP. Call coverage will be 1:5. The providers utilize EPIC
for their electronic medical records.
