  Responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing for all patient types in a timely efficient and accurate manner Performs waived moderate and high complexity tests in accordance with state federal and other regulatory requirements Completes equipment maintenance quality control and quality management activities in accordance with manufacturer s recommendations and departmental policies and procedures Is able to prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and departmental needs Actively participates in process improvement to enhance turnaround times and quality of test results utilizing decision making and troubleshooting skills Effectively communicates and demonstrates good customer service throughout the health system to include nursing staff physicians patients co-workers and other LMHS customers and employees

  Educational Requirements Degree Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required Preferred and or Bachelor s Required and Additional Requirements Three or four years formal education or training beyond high school or BS or BA degree required Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required Preferred and or No Experience Required Additional Requirements Successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory technologist training program in accordance with the State of Florida Department of Health Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel Florida Administrative Code State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required Preferred and or Medical Technologist License Required Certifications Registration Requirements Certificates Registrations Required Preferred and or 160;
