OB Laborist Physician Locums Job in FloridaDates for Assignment:All shifts begin at 5:30pm and end at 7:00am the next day June 10,11,14,15 July 15,16,22,23,29,30,31 August 1,2,3,12,13, September 22,23,24, October 13,14,15,30,31 November 1,2,17,24,25,26 December 8,9,10,18,19,23,30Details/Requirements for Assignment : 13.5 hour shifts during the week and 24 hour shifts on weekends Active Florida license required Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Average 50-60 deliveries per month CNM s on staff and can assist with C-sections if needed. High risk cases sent to nearby Children s hospital EPIC EMR Only one physician for group during nights and weekends. Two Hospitalists in house for emergencies. Responsibilities: Management of L&D patients for OBGYN group. Postpartum rounds with assistants from CNM's, antepartum rounds, back up GYN ED call on some shifts, discharges Covering for one large group of physicians and midwives Midwives see higher risk patients but some are given to the physicians.
