Physician Assistant
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Physician Assistant to join its
practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The
hospital's NICU offers:
* State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
* The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per
year
* Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery
service
* Primary responsibilities include providing coverage at our
Level-III NICU
* All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular
surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
* In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
* Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage
from home
* Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
* We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally
sensitive and family-centered unit

* Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical
research, if desired
* Opportunity available to train in a Neonatal PA Residency

Qualifications
* Current certification through National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
* Minimum of a master's degree
* Applicants must have completed a Neonatal PA training program or
have current PA experience in a Neonatal ICU.
