License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
required Must-Have: AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class
taken and passed required Preferred: AWHONN Advanced fetal
monitoring class and EFM certification preferred Description: This
position requires handling high acuity patients. The nurse will
work within a patient ratio of 1-2:1. Call is required for 12 hours
in a 6-week scheduling period. Familiarity with the Epic electronic
medical record system is necessary. Scrub colors are Galaxy Blue
and/or White. Degree accreditation must be included in the profile
or the candidate must have 5 years of experience. Clinical
interview and offer will be conducted as part of the hiring
process. Travelers are expected to float to other departments or
facilities as needed. The culture of the unit values integration of
travelers as core staff.
