Job Description:
Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical
Therapist Assistant to join our caring and knowledgeable team in
providing customized rehabilitative care to our diverse patient
population. Our Physical Therapist Assistants play a pivotal role
in implementing patient treatment plans created by our physical
therapists, facilitating recovery and improving the quality of life
for our patients. Assist physical therapists in providing physical
therapy treatments and procedures. Report on patient's response to
treatment and account for progress or setbacks. Help manage patient
mobility to maximize physical potential. Educate patients and their
families on post-treatment care and exercises. Maintain patient
treatment records and document the progress. Participate in
operational aspects of the department, including clinical
supervision. Ability to implement effective physical therapy
treatments under supervision. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail. Empathy and capability to foster patient comfort and ease.
Knowledge of electronic health records and data entry. 401k Valid
Physical Therapist Assistant state license required. CPR and
first-aid certification desired but not essential. Compliance with
state and federal regulations and health and safety standards.
