Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced
Locums Emergency Medicine Physician – Nocturnist to provide
overnight coverage at a busy emergency department in Sarasota,
Florida, as well as at associated freestanding emergency
departments (FSEDs). This position offers the opportunity to work
in a modern facility with a supportive team while enjoying the
lifestyle benefits of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Position Details:
Schedule: Overnight shifts (Nocturnist role) Annual Volume: 27,000
visits Emergency Department Features: 19 recently renovated beds
24-hour physician coverage Modern, well-equipped facilities Work
Locations: Main hospital ED and associated freestanding emergency
departments (FSEDs) Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality
emergency care to patients of all ages. Assess, diagnose, and treat
urgent and emergent medical conditions. Provide coverage at both
the main ED and associated FSEDs as needed. Collaborate with
hospitalists, specialists, and other team members to optimize
patient outcomes. Document all patient encounters accurately and in
a timely manner using the facility’s EMR. Maintain professionalism
and efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or
AOBEM) Completed Emergency Medicine residency training Active
Florida Medical License Current DEA License Must be willing and
able to work at both the main ED and FSED locations Sarasota offers
