Job Description:
Join Lee Health's Gulf Coast Medical Center as a Registered
Nurse in our Oncology department and be part of a dedicated team
delivering high quality care to patients battling cancer in the
Southwest Florida community. Our Oncology RNs are critical in
providing emotional support and medical care to patients in an
inpatient setting. At Lee Health, we emphasize compassionate,
personalized care, aligning with our commitment to improving
community health outcomes. Provide direct nursing care in
accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of
the healthcare organization. Perform thorough patient assessments,
administer prescribed medications, and implement patient care
plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as
appropriate. Support patient and family with empathy and care
during inpatient oncology treatment. Ensure compliance with safety
directives and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Strong clinical skills in oncology and acute care. Proficient in
using medical software and electronic health records. Exceptional
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively
in high-pressure situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Florida. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
preferred.
