Job Description:
Lee Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU/Pediatric
Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role,
you will be responsible for providing specialized occupational
therapy to infants, toddlers, and children in our NICU and
pediatric departments, leveraging our state-of-the-art facilities
and a compassionate approach to care. As part of our commitment to
community health, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary
team to develop and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at
improving daily living and functional abilities of young patients
with a variety of medical challenges. Assess patients' functional
levels and develop occupational therapy treatment plans in
collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Implement therapeutic
interventions to address developmental, sensory, and motor skills
deficiencies in pediatric and NICU patients. Document patient
progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate family
members and caregivers on continuing therapy techniques and
strategies at home. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to
professional and ethical standards. Strong understanding of
pediatric growth and development Knowledge of therapeutic
techniques and interventions for infants and children Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to
work with patients of varying medical complexities Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state
licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Certification from the
National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Additional certification in pediatric or neonatal therapy highly
desirable.
