Job Description:
Lee Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral
Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Southwest Florida.
This role involves providing exceptional mental health services and
support within a leading health system known for its commitment to
community wellness and excellence in healthcare. The therapist will
work closely with patients across various demographics to assess,
diagnose, and treat mental and emotional disorders using
evidence-based therapies tailored to individual needs. Conduct
psychological assessments and diagnostic tests to determine client
needs and treatment goals. Develop effective treatment plans based
on patients’ health status and psychological profiles. Facilitate
individual and group therapy sessions to address mental health
issues. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate and
improve patient care. Actively participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings to discuss treatment, progress, and integration of
therapeutic services. Maintain detailed and confidential records of
patient care and therapy processes. Stay current with developments
in the field of mental health and apply new skills to practice.
Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and
motivational interviewing. Strong interpersonal, communication, and
empathy skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and
independently. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health
Counselor (LMHC), or similar credentials. Certified in CPR and
crisis intervention techniques preferred.
