Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is actively accepting CVs from Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physicians looking to join this rapidly growing, nationally recognized rehabilitation program in Sarasota County. Lead comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care as a primary physiatrist , with the opportunity to expand your practice across consultative services and outpatient clinic settings within a fully integrated health system. Deliver care at a state-of-the-art, hospital-based Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) , fully supported by on-site diagnostics, advanced imaging, subspecialty consultants, and the complete resources of a major acute care hospital. Manage a medically complex and diverse rehabilitation population , with a clinical focus in general PM&R. Monday–Friday schedule with rotating call (primarily home-based). Weekend call typically includes admissions and evaluation of active medical issues with APP support, plus a post-call day off. Optional opportunity to teach Florida State University medical students , as Sarasota Memorial Hospital is a core clinical training site. Research opportunities exist at the SMH Kolschowsky Research and Education Institute , a state-of-the-art 82,000 sq ft facility with clinical research resources, simulation labs, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
