Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Radiology
Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis, offering flexibility
in scheduling to meet the dynamic needs of our inpatient
rehabilitation and home health services. This role requires
proficiency in conducting radiologic tests to provide data for the
diagnosis of medical issues and patient care adjustments. Perform
radiographic exams and procedures across varied environments.
Ensure patient safety and adhere to radiation protection standards.
Maintain radiology equipment and inventory of necessary supplies.
Collaborate with healthcare team to evaluate radiologic data.
Provide compassionate care to enhance patient comfort and
understanding of procedures. Proficient in radiographic technology
and tools. Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient
protection. Excellent communication and patient handling skills.
Ability to adapt to different settings within the healthcare
environment. Capability to manage workload independently with
minimal supervision. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid and active certification by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure as
required.
