Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Fort Myers, FL Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,378 to $2,453 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified OR RN in Fort Myers, Florida, 33993! Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care, assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced operating room environment. Candidates must have strong orthopedic surgical experience and the ability to adapt to different OR settings as floating may be required. Key Responsibilities: Provide circulating nursing support during surgical procedures. Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment prior to procedures. Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure safety and stability. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow. Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in the Epic EMR system . Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled. Requirements Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience . Strong Orthopedic surgical experience required. Prior travel nursing experience preferred . Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and adapt to different OR teams. Education & Certifications: Active RN license in Florida or Compact (NLC) License required at time of submission. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
