Quigley Eye Specialists is growing and we are excited to expand the Human Resources Department in our Fort Myers location; if you want to make a difference every day utilizing your savvy HR approach assist with the implementation of new systems and programs, then you will find fulfillment on our team!Reporting to the Director of Human Resources the HR Generalist will utilize their breadth of knowledge and experience to administer and manage many HR operational functions throughout the organization. -The HR Generalist will support the team with recruitment, record maintenance, reporting and analytics, and employee relations, while using their superior judgement and attention to detail to deliver outstanding service to employees, management, and team! -The successful candidate will be experienced, excited to support growth, fulfilled through new challenges, a savvy HRIS and HR systems wiz, and a highly collaborative team member.What are the general responsibilities?Maintain HRIS and other record keeping in alignment with applicable internal recordkeeping processes and compliant with applicable legal regulations.Create a positive new employee experience with conducting Orientation and welcome program, along with administering appropriate paperwork and new employee training, as required.Provide positive employee experience in daily interactions with staff and management, as a representative of the Company's core values.Using a high level of accuracy and detail, prepare paperwork regarding policies, leave of absence, employee communications, compliance, and related documentation as needed; ad hoc reporting using superior Excel skills, HRIS software functionality as assigned.Assist with recruitment by administering job postings, conducting phone interviews, coordinate on site interviews for open positions, as assigned; assisting in the management of candidate communications through ATS administration; representing the organization in a positive manner as an ambassador for the Mission, Vision, and Values.Coordinate and manage benefits administration on a day to day basis and assist in the annual Open Enrollment administrative process; update benefits systems for accuracy and alignment.Manage pre-boarding and onboarding new employee paperwork, ensuring all compliance with applicable employment law and regulations.Maintain personnel files and follow internal procedures for file access and security; maintain compliance with laws and regulations regarding recordkeeping.Maintain OSHA and other regulatory reporting and compliant posting of reports as needed.Assist the HR Director in all facets of supporting the company and employee needs with employee relations, leave management, and strategic initiatives.Manage the flow of the HR inbox, addressing matters quickly and timely, escalating to HR Leadership as appropriate, using sound judgement.Interpret policy and procedures accurately and aligned with the HR department philosophies and initiatives, providing the highest level of support to employees.Assist the HR Director in the implementation of services, policies, and programs aimed at maintaining a safe, positive, and productive work environment.Propose efficiencies or updates to HR materials to the HR Director to ensure alignment with changing legal environment and culture needs of the organization; be an active participating in creating excellence and efficiencies in all HR Operations.Assist in related HR Department initiatives and programs as needed to ensure superior HR support to the teams and aligned with the Company's strategic initiatives.Other related duties as assignedTRAVELUp to 25% - Must be able to travel to different area clinic locations as needed for trainings, orientation, and other related HR employee needs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations or related fieldPHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred5+ prior years in Human Resources role, preferably in a Sr. HR Assistant or HR Generalist positionExtensive experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Benefits Administration software and systems.Prior experience with FMLA and Leave administration.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on superior Excel and PowerPoint skillsMust have superior professional written and verbal communication skills;
