Job Description:

PSC, LLC a busy Fort Myers-based construction company is hiring a full time HR/Payroll Coordinator.Responsibilities Include: Coordinates new hire onboarding and orientation Maintains training logs Ensures HR policies are current and all documents are professional Oversees performance evaluation schedule and resulting action items Assists with disciplinary cases and terminations Oversees company benefits, workers comp, etc. Processes and maintains payroll processing system to ensure timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors Review and weekly processing of employee timesheets and Sick/Vacation Time usage Answers questions from employees related to standard policies Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and work assessments (including safety training, anti-harassment training, and aptitude exams and certifications) Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation Prepares a variety of HR reports Safeguard sensitive company records to include financial and personnel files. Maintain key company files such as insurance binders, vendor documents, and historical records. All hiring is contingent upon a background check and drug screen Requirements An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or minimum 2 years of experience processing payroll. Comfortable within a fast-paced and often changing environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency with current MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Paychex a plus Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Equally at ease working independently and as part of a team Benefits Pay is commensurate with experience Paid holidays Vacation and sick days upon eligibility Medical, Vision and Dental insurance available with company contribution on HealthJob Type: Full-time
