Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be
responsible for payroll processing, state tax filing, and accounts
payable.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state tax regulations and file
payroll tax returns
Process accounts payable transactions, resolve discrepancies, and
collaborate with vendors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing, state tax
filing, and accounts payable
Comprehensive knowledge of state-specific tax laws and
regulations
Proficiency in using payroll software and accounting systems
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
