Job Description:

PURPOSE: The HR Recruiting Specialist primarily responsible updating and the dissemination of information regarding company policies, procedures, and recruitment processes. Other duties include assisting in whatever areas necessary to ensure smooth operations of the Human Resources department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Answer incoming calls and routing of calls as needed. Responsible for working knowledge of company and directing calls. * Respond to inquiries from employees and external job applicants. * Assist in the implementation of the overall social media recruitment campaign. * Assist managers in the screening of resumes, conducting reference checks of potential candidates, and processing of requisition forms. * Input requisitions into Applicant Tracking System. * Assist in the assignment of position numbers, FLSA classification, and post positions and advertise via electronic mediums on an as needed basis. * Communicate with hiring managers and respond to inquiries regarding candidates and interview processes. * Assist in the development of interviewing/hiring resources and tools for disbursement to hiring managers. * Responsible for filing, scanning, copying and faxing documents as needed. * Work with Regional HR Team in securing temporary employees for assignments; assist in the processing of temporary invoices. * Participate in job fairs as well as visit schools/universities in an effort to attract potential candidates. * Provide lunch and break coverage to other HR Assistants as well as Corporate Receptionist on an as needed basis. * Meet briefly with candidates to review pre-employment documentation such as background check information and drug screen paperwork. * Assist with other projects to support the HR team on an as needed basis. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, potential applicants, or members of the business community. * Ability to prepare information for management and/or Directors. * Understanding of proper recruiting and interviewing techniques, processes, and legalities surrounding interviewing. * Very high attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. * Willingness to speak with candidates over the telephone. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2+ years previous experience working in a corporate HR environment, specifically within the realm of recruitment required. * Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Power Point, and MS Excel.
