This position will cooperate with IT management and existing programmers to deliver complete projects, including gathering end user requirements, designing, prototyping, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Position reports to the Manager of Clinical System Integration and Development.Your key responsibilities:Work with end users to determine appropriate project requirementsDesign, code, and test custom applications for various departmentsDevelop T-SQL for data pulls, reporting, and back end database development as requiredWrite complex relational database queries and query optimization for very large datasets Educate and advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumptionPerform necessary project documentation in a timely mannerMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR Six years in software application design or build experience may be substituted for the degree3+ years' of professional Software Engineering experienceExperience in .NET C#, C++, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server within a corporate environmentVisual Studio .NET (C#) experienceExperience with MS SQL 2008 R2/2012/2016Experience with custom application developmentProject development experienceProject documentation and test experiencePreferred Qualifications:An emphasis on C# and MS SQL applicationsExperience in Healthcare industryHL7 interface designGenesisCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
