This position’s primary purpose is to optimize existing operations across the GenesisCare US radiation oncology network, to drive sustainable growth and best practice across all radiation oncology practice groups.. Key areas for the role:. Driving Operational Excellence & Leadership – Set the vision, build and lead the team, deliver the plan. Continuous Improvement & Best Practice – Develop & execute the strategies for growth and optimal performance. Information and Commercial Management – Leverage available data and metrics to drive operational performance, and ensure operations drive financial sustainability through the practice P&L’s. Your key responsibilities:. Operational Excellence & Leadership. Your priority will be to develop and mentor the national practice leaders as nominated in the direct reports. You will also be responsible for ensuring the team has the capabilities and skillset to deliver on our operational excellence program in the United States.. As a key leader in the GenesisCare US Leadership Team, develop strategies that shape the operational direction, achieve the organization’s performance goals, and deliver outstanding value for our partners, and most importantly superior care for our patients that achieves the best possible life outcomes. Work in partnership with our Chief Medical Officer and associated clinical leaders to support and execute our operating model in line with clinical best practice.. Responsible for the implementation and successful completion of operational excellence deliverables aligned to the GenesisCare US business plan. Sets the vision and provides leadership and direction for national operational practice groups, which drives collaboration, consistency and best practice nationally. Lead the design and implementation of efficient & effective workflow and best practice to ensure physics, Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, Nursing and Patient Services teams are effective and consistent across the network. Collaborate with the Leadership team to set goals, clearly define operations, and develop appropriate performance standards, metrics and reporting tools. Effectively communicates the vision, strategy and priorities across the business to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed. Partner with Shared Services Leadership team to deliver key organizational programs and daily business operations. You will be a leader and innovator of progressive and brave ideas and will consider the best interests and strategic direction when evaluating decisions and implementing new approaches. In partnership with Quality & Transformation and other key partners across the network, lead and inspire continuous improvement across all areas of our practice, in order to reduce costs, increase accuracy and efficiency, and improve internal and external customer satisfaction. Oversee the implementation of new business processes and works closely with Division Executives and Service of the Future leaders to implement best practice designed to support and maintain superior service delivery to patients and a positive and effective working environment for our teams.. You will be aware of and help support and drive state-based performance priorities through culture reform, operational improvement and commercial knowledge. You will need to plan and identify value improvements and enablers to support the achievement of these goals.. Information and Commercial Management. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Division Executives to develop and oversee the national operations budget, ensuring effective stewardship of resources, and achievement of commercial and financial targets.. AssistDivision Executives with workforce planning and operational efficiency across the network, and understand operational risks facing practices to suggest potential mitigations to the Chief Operating Officer, Division Executives and shared services.. Facilitate the collation of operational information and metrics to help support the analysis and execution of excellent operational performance. Analyze longer-term trends and develop recommendations for improvement.. Your key working relationships:. As the Head of Operations, GenesisCare US, you need to develop strong relationships with the following internal parties:. GenesisCare US Leadership team, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, , SOF Program Manager, and Division Executives.. Shared Services Leadership Team, including Finance, P&C, IT, Brand & Marketing, Legal etc. Business Development Team. In addition, you need to develop strong external relationships with various individuals/agencies/key stakeholders.. Department of Health. Sector / Industry networks and advocacy groups (Cancer Council etc). Experience:. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or similar discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar senior leadership role, in similar sized organization (Health Care sector preferred). Strong financial skills and commercial acumen. Ability to understand, direct and communicate complex data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated acumen in people and process change management. Other requirements for this role:. Can build strong relationships across the network that they can leverage to achieve success for GenesisCare. Strong leadership skills and experience in liaising, influencing and negotiating with staff across job families at all levels of an organization. Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity, uncertainty, complexity and time pressures. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capability. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Ability to travel interstate as required.
