Responsible for providing excellent customer experience in a
team based environment while assisting in all aspects of an
orthopedic practice. This position is responsible for patient
safety, assisting in small office procedures, processing lab
specimens, the safe operation of medical equipment and the
application, measurement and utilization of braces, splints and
casts. This position does not administer medications. The
Orthopedic Tech assists in the preparation of medications for the
provider and the documentation in EMR. This position addresses
patient questions and concerns with information as directed by
provider. Duties of this position can include scheduling support,
authorization assistance, scanning or other medical practice
assistance as directed.
