Our Corporate Office location in Ft. Myers, Fl. is seeking a Real Estate Manager to join our team!

The Manager, Real Estate will be responsible for the development and management of a multi-year real estate plan. Our focus is to ensure alignment on space needs with our business partners, looking into the future and using leading industry indicators, to help Florida Cancer Specialists footprint to be efficient, productive, and collaborative. This approach enables our investment to be maximized and not underutilized.

The Manager, Real Estate will be responsible for coordinating the acquisition, negotiation and execution of all new leases and lease renegotiation activity, including, but not limited to assisting in lease activity for Corporate initiatives, transitions, identifying and acquiring new locations, and disposal of surplus property. This role will interface with individuals inside and outside the company on lease issues, interacts with internal and external legal, operations, facilities, and enterprise risk management departments. This role will oversee landlord disputes, handling litigation issues and other issues arising from real estate portfolio in area of responsibility to ensure company interest are protected.

Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.  Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

• Education:
  • BA or advanced degree with experience in real estate operating environment.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
• Previous Experience:
  • 7 years of experience in; real estate, project management oversight, portfolio planning, real estate finance role(s) (with at least 5 years having been corporate real estate experience).
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of corporate real estate (Facilities Management, Project Management, Occupancy Management, Transactions).
• Strong understanding of the core drivers that support optimization of a large, geographically dispersed real estate portfolio.
• Experience working within Healthcare services preferred.
