You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our Information Technology Development team helps develop and supports internal information technology systems and applications for use by all staff levels. You'll help our team develop programmes and applications that cater to PwC's strategic technology needs using your knowledge of technical domains of application.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in understanding business problems and developing Salesforce technology-enabled solutions that address the needs of large organizations, including the following areas:

  • Displaying familiarity of all phases of applications systems analysis and the SDLC development methodology (Agile/Scrum);
  • Demonstrating the ability to effectively work and communicate with Business Analysts and Architects on requirements, implementation approaches and solutions;
  • Demonstrating the ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com end users across Sales, Service, Marketing, IT, and Operations, including core technologies and processes, and all upstream and downstream connected applications and integrations;
  • Extracting relevant and meaningful information from multiple sources and apply it to solution designs that are scalable and supported by a well defined implementation approach;
  • Adapting to rapid changes and understanding the severity and impact of these changes in order to support and use future technology;
  • Demonstrating agility in modifying proposed solutions or approaches as needed to address evolving requirements;
  • Utilizing analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; and,
  • Displaying attention to detail in executing and reviewing the work of others to establish quality standards that are achieved.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in performing function and technical capabilities, and learning new capabilities, including the following areas:

  • Understanding and applying of Salesforce.com best practices, functionality, setup & configuration and general architecture;
  • Articulating and clearly communicating complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner;
  • Demonstrating familiarity with Intermediate Salesforce Administration and Configuration (Hands on experience implementing workflow rules, validation rules, complex assignment rules, process builders, lightning web components, working with metadata etc.);
  • Utilizing Salesforce Technological Product Suites (Data Loader, Workbench, IDE tools like Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, etc.);
  • Creating and demoing working proofs of concept for business requirements using out of the box features of Salesforce;
  • Understanding third party integration and functionality and impact of these integrations, and ability to document an end-to-end process in the whole;
  • Understanding non-functional requirements related to access control, security, performance, or integrations, to conduct requirements elicitation, validation and analysis meetings with appropriate stakeholders; perform Fit/Gap analysis; support testing activities; and produce deliverables related to the project or projects assigned; and,
  • Demonstrating the ability to consult and advise Developers when they have challenges in building a technical solution.

  • Contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members;
  • Proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback;
  • Providing guidance, clarification, and feedback to less-experience team members;
  • Prioritizing and completing simultaneous high priority requests; and,
  • Producing deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborate effectively across teams and juggle multiple projects and initiatives in different phases simultaneously.
