Position Summary: In compliance with established policies and procedures, provides administrative and operational support in the Trust area; insuring the client's needs are met and long-term relationships are developed and fostered.Essential Functions:Provides daily trust administration and support in a growth-oriented, team-focused and transformational environment.Assists trust administrators by interacting with clients and answering questions related to online access.Sets up new accounts and monitors the setup by tracking the account opening process in SalesForce; ensuring fees are properly applied and approved; processing and tracking free receipt of assets with accurate cost basis information; and scanning new account documentation into the imaging system.Processes client transactions, i.e., ACH/Wires/Transfers and ensures that all transactions and back-up of ACH/Wires/Transfers are scanned into the imaging system.Processes discretionary distribution requests and ensures all documentation is scanned into the imaging system.Processes updates to account documentation, including beneficiary designations and address changes.Assists trust administrators with estate settlements.Assists trust administrators with all aspects of account and transaction documentation. Pays bills and taxes for clients and monitors account to avoid overdrafts.Maintains constant contact with other custodians in regard to the transfer status of incoming new accounts.Responsible for the reconciliation of incoming assets to the prior custodian statement.Responsible for accurately coding the fees upon opening new accounts.Reviews and updates cost basis on incoming assets.Processes account closings - track the process and ensure all steps are taken properly.Verify that tax closings are completed in a timely fashion, including mailing of final statements and cost basis updated where necessary (prior to moving assets to beneficiary account or resulting trust).Assist with all dimensions related to IRA transactions.Performs other duties as required and assigned by management.Required Education, Skills, and Experience:Associates degree preferredA minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience providing transactional or administrative/operational support to trust administration within a trust/asset management/private banking institutionExcellent interpersonal skillsExperience with SalesForce is considered a plus Experience with Quick Books is considered a plusTrust and Estates experience a plusAbility to multi-task and accurately assess prioritiesStrong organization skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communicationStrong computer skills- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Professional appearance and demeanor requiredADA Job Description: The physical requirements and activities described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary. Environmental Conditions.
