Job DescriptionJob descriptionFlorida Spring and Axle Service is hiring a Mechanic.We have been in our field for 45 years serving heavy duty trucks, heavy civil vehicles, and RVs. We offer a wide variety of services and specialize in suspension, spring, alignment, frame, brake, machining, and drivetrain work. We provide a large facility and are focused on delivering great service to our customers.We are looking to hire great and engaged technicians to be a part of our organization's growth and development.Job Description:· Brake and Suspension focused work

· Welding and fabrication, if needed

· Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts

· Disassemble and reassemble equipment and components

· Identify and correct vehicle and equipment deficiencies, making adjustments and alignments

· Keep excellent record of work

Job Requirements:· Technician experience preferred

· Candidates should also possess the following: knowledge of mechanical inspection tools, technical understanding, ability to problem solve, attention to detail, dependability, thoroughness, documentation skills, job knowledge, and creativity

· Must be conscience of safety procedures and security

· Attendance, punctuality, and teamwork

Salary: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour. Commission pay. Paid weekly. Paid overtime. Paid vacation and holidays.
