Job Summary
The Admissions Articulation Coordinator is responsible for the
coordination of the undergraduate course articulation process. This
position exercises professional judgment within the context of
varying admission requirements to review and evaluate transcripts
and student records, updating the Software Information Systems
(SIS) as appropriate.

Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
* Manages the undergraduate course articulation process.
* Evaluates admissions applications.
* Collects, reviews, and verifies student admission applications,
domestic and foreign transcripts, and other related forms for
admission to ensure authenticity and compliance with university
policies and state and federal regulations.
* Reviews and provides input on applications with disclosed prior
conduct incidents. Participates in the admissions clearance process
for determining admissibility of special consideration cases.
* Creates, maintains, and ensures electronic admissions records are
complete, accurate, and up to date.
* Responds to inquiries by email, telephone or in person from
prospective students, families, and/or counselors.
* Researches and resolves complex issues related to articulation
procedures and admissions decisions.
* Communicates new information regarding admission and articulation
requirements to admissions team and helps update procedure
documents.
* Makes data corrections and updates the applicant information in
Banner and applicant records.
Other Duties:
* Other job-related duties as assigned.
* Manages and coordinates all aspects of admissions processing
functional area.
* Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises admissions staff and
student assistants.
* Reads and interprets federal, state and university regulations
regarding admissions.
* Processes program related documents and monitors compliance to
program regulations as they relate to a specific program area.
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an
appropriate area of specialization.
* Two years of professional full-time Admissions or Higher
Education experience.
* Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience,
and/or certifications may be considered.
* Experience operating a personal computer and proficient in
Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in higher education environment.
* Experience with information systems such as Banner, Workday, BDM,
and Recruit.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to
the position.
* Expert working knowledge of the practices, procedures and
activities of transfer credit evaluation and course
articulation.
* Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
* Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and
weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to
problems.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a
team environment.
* Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability
to present effectively to small and large groups.
* Ability to understand, interpret, apply, and explain personnel
policies and procedures.
* Ability to manage and coordinate assignments to meet
deadlines.
* Ability to work independently to complete assignments.
* Ability to provide professional customer service.
* Ability to present to large groups.
* Ability to thrive in an organization that values the diversity of
