Description:Candidates will be working with payers to fully process authorizations for an oncology facility, this would be working through the complete authorization through portal, from start to finish. Candidates who have worked in Hematology and Oncology specialization from authorizations will be able to jump right in and perform well in this role. Candidates will get assigned a specific payer, for example Blue Shield Blue Cross, and filter through the payers dashboard and go through the list to process all authorizations in that portal from start to finish. Candidates may have to call payers if there is a pending request that cannot be resolved through the payers portal.Top Skills Details:Health care, Prior authorization, Insurance verification, Medical insuranceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Need to have Authorization experienceMust have clinical experience working with Payers and Clinical reviewersOnly processing authorizations - if the candidate worked for a smaller clinic and was processing 30 a day we should not disqualify them because they would have been multi tasking with other things during their typical work day. in this role they will be processing 70 accounts a day once training is over, but that is all they are doing, quality and production are most important for someone in this role.
