To be the best, we want the best - best brands, best practices and, most importantly, the best people.Job Description STATEMENT OF JOB:This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing food processing equipment and areas as per the Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures. This position also performs custodial duties, maintains the welfare areas, supports the factory recycling program, supports on time start-ups and works in such a manner to meet the company's Safety, Quality and Cost Goals.ACCOUNTABILITY:1. Cleaning and sanitizing topping, sauce and bakery equipment as required.2. Operating cleaning equipment such as the tote washer, floor scrubber and high pressure cleaning devices.3. Disassemble/ Reassemble processing equipment in a timely manner.4. Ensuring equipment passes pre-operating inspections and re-cleans as needed.5. Disposal of topping, sauce and bakery waste.6. Cleaning moving and unguarded equipment in such a manner to prevent personal injury, equipmentdamage and production downtime.7. Ensuring hand and foot bath containers are filled at start-up.8. Ensuring hand soap, paper towels, gloves and smocks are available for daily start-ups.9. Maintaining sanitary conditions in the washroom, chemical room, compactor area, welfare areasoffices, maintenance areas and plant grounds.10. Working safely (wearing PPE and reporting unsafe conditions). Applying LOTO devices as needed.11. Support the plant's Safety, Quality and Cost Initiatives.12. Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader or Supervisor.13. Follow Safety Guidelines in accordance with Safe Practices and Job Safety Analysis. Participates in theWork Safe Process.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Must be able to work in a hot/cold, soiled and wet environment continuously.2. Must be able to lift 10 to 40 pounds regularly and on occasions up to 50 pounds.3. Able to work a flexible schedule and overtime hours when needed.4. Understand basic USDA food safety practices (GMP's).5. Knowledge and ability to operate pneumatic and basic hand tools battery-operated drills,adjustable wrenches, and open/box wrenches for the purpose of line assembly.Must have basic reading comprehension skills in English or Spanish.Must be able demonstrate identification of chemicals and proper PPE.Perform basic operations (start/stop) of topping/sauce/bakery equipment via control panels in order to perform cleaning duties.Must have a good attendance record.Must be able to climb to heights as high as 50 feet to access and clean storage vesselsMust be able to work in confined spaces.Must adhere to FSQ guidelines, and supporting the overall QRMP processLocation(s) Ft.
