Plumbing / Fire Protection Specialty Designer Responsibilities:




Knowledge of fire protection plumbing design. NFPA knowledge is a plus. Revit; familiarity with K-12, commercial, public-sector work, mid-to-high rise, EOC design.
Rainwater harvesting and solar thermal design is a plus.
Transform initial rough project designs and concepts into working documents utilizing REVIT.
Work closely with the technical team members in producing final drawings and completing design tasks.
Prepare the full set of discipline drawings from the legend sheet to details and specifications.
Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the design and construction process.




Plumbing / Fire Protection Specialty Designer Qualifications:


Ideal candidates 5+ years of experience in drafting and designing plumbing and fire protection systems in an A/E environment.
An AA/AS degree and /or technical certification in mechanical designs are preferred.
Knowledge of applicable codes and general engineering practices.
Minimum 3 years of Revit.
Candidates must have solid planning, organizational, teamwork and communication skills.
