This is a permanent position in the construction industry, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:As a Senior Estimator, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed cost estimations and budgeting for various construction projects.
• Managing contracts, including negotiation, administration, and evaluation.
• Utilizing value engineering to optimize project cost-effectiveness.
• Developing comprehensive project estimations and plans.
• Participating in project bidding, including preparation of bid documents and proposals.
• Managing change orders and ensuring cost control.
• Driving to job sites to assess progress, verify specifications, and perform site inspections.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
• Ensuring adherence to construction safety guidelines and regulations.Qualifications:The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation or a related role.
  • Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, negotiation, value engineering, project estimation, project planning, contract negotiation, project bidding, change orders, and cost control.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to drive to job sites.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction safety.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for project management and estimation.
