Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Licensed
Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN) to join
our team. This role is crucial in providing top-notch patient care
in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies,
and hospice settings. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering
comprehensive care under the supervision of a registered nurse or
physician, ensuring the health and comfort of our patients remains
a priority. This position offers the opportunity to work closely
with patients and their families, providing compassionate,
personalized nursing care in a supportive and advanced medical
environment. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records
of vital signs and medical information. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Collaborate with
RNs and doctors to implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
Educate and support patients and their families on health
conditions and recovery. Ensure compliance with all health and
safety regulations within the facility. Assist with diagnostic
testing and results interpretation. Provide emotional and practical
support to patients and their families. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficient in maintaining accurate healthcare
records and administering medications. Knowledge of health care
protocols, patient safety, and hygiene standards. Ability to work
effectively in a team-oriented environment. Adaptable to diverse
healthcare settings including rehabilitation, home health, and
hospice care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational
Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice. CPR/BLS
certification.
